I was a little wary of buying a couch from Amazon, but this seemed like a pretty good deal so I decided to go for it. The couch came in boxes and we had to assemble it, but it only took my husband a couple of hours to get it unboxed and put together (that's with my 2 year old "helping" him.)The color is exactly what it looks like, a dark, rich, beautiful brown. The thing I was most worried about was comfort. When I first sat down it was on the stiff side, and my heart sank a little. Then realized I was sitting up straight with my knees together and my hands on my knees (not comfortable, no matter where you're sitting.) After an hour or so of lounging on it watching TV, I fell in love with it. I didn't want to get off it to go to bed. I think after a while it will soften up just enough that it will be very comfortable without swallowing you up every time you sit in it like really soft couches do.

The couch was delivered in three boxes: one smallish box for the ottoman, and two large boxes for the sectional pieces. The cushions and tools were stored inside the bases, so everything is pretty compact for shipping, compared to how it could have been.Assembly took a little less than two hours working alone. Instructions are easy to follow and show how to put it together with the loveseat on the left or the right. As long as you fasten the bolts tightly everything is pretty sturdy. There is no sectional fastener included, so you might want to order one of those as well, or plan on rigging your own.The sectional looks great and is really comfortable. The seats are maybe a bit deeper than it seems looking at the product image. Cushions seem very durable, but I'll update the review if we have any problems.
