The 8-inch queen size futon mattress is constructed of cotton wrapped foam with a durable cotton cover. It is lace tufted with white thread. The futon mattress is completely reversible. It ships vacuum packed bagging inside a box. Please allow several days for the mattress to return to its full loft and for the wrinkles in the cotton cover to smooth out. The frame is notincluded.

When I moved the box I was skeptical about the item, I thought it was too light and too small to be an 8-inch futon mattress.Well, it was!Allow at least 24 hours before using (it's vacuum compressed for shipping, so it needs air and time to get to it's normal size).Sturdy, nice black cover, firm, and a huge pro : it's light enough to be moved, lifted and turned.I really like it, and for that price, it's a deal.
