I needed a simple inexpensive futon for a spare room. This meets all those requirements. The box is heavy so you may need help moving it. Once you open the box you can move the pieces easily. It may take a while to assemble it but it isn't too difficult and the pieces are marked left and right. All in all it's a good futon for the price.

This was a great buy - very sturdy with the center leg. It was easy to assemble and just what I needed in my guest room. Believe me when I say I looked in a lot of places and was very pleased Amazon had exactly what I was looking for!

So I thought I got a great deal on this product, but it's another example of you get what you pay for. Not only did some of the hardware that came with this product show up damaged to the point where it wouldn't work (thank you for sending out replacements at no cost), but it's a huge hassle to use. It creaks and moans constantly, and is diffucult to pull into a bed or make into a couch. It seriously takes two strong men. I wouldn't purchase again.
